ロンドンのロイヤル・カレッジ・オブ・アート (Royal College of Art) の卒業生3人が、絵画と彫刻インスタレーションを用いて「境界」をテーマにしたコレクティブ展を日本で開催します。

各々異なる背景を持つアーティスト、Ava Grauls (ベルギー・南アフリカ)、Makiko Shimizu Harris (日本・アメリカ) 、そしてMegumi Ohata (日本・韓国ミックス) は、土地を越え、自身の肌で生きるという文化的体験を通して、マクロとミクロの境界についてのテーマを探求します。

移民の問題を取り巻く創作活動に対する共通の関心が、アーティストコレクティブを広島市で行われる「Edge」展へと導きました。これらのアーティストは、私たちの身体と領域という観点での境界の内外に生きることの意味を芸術的な表現としてもたらすことを目指しています。
